The Afrikaans rapper released the music video for Demon (Demons)the first single from his album Die Evangelie van Goeie Tye (The Gospel of Good Times)in which he depicts a religious cult leader with a mule.
“Devil is the first music video I directed and wrote myself. It was a nerve-wracking experience, but I’m so glad I agreed!” Parow said in a statement.

Since her fortieth birthday on February 22, 2022, Parow has released a new single on the 22nd of every month. He will continue to release a monthly rap until his 41st birthday in February 2023, when his last album will be finished.
Devil was the first song released and was written in 2021 with Margot Rothman.
Sharing more about the song itself, Parow said:
I wrote Demone (Demons) during one of the darkest times of my life, so this is a deeply meaningful song to me. Having to be so honest with myself in such a scary mental space was one of the things that brought me out of that darkness and back into the light. This process led to a metaphorical rebirth of my mindset and my music.
